The first guestroom we baptized LALA-KAHLE or "good night" in the Zulu language. Here you may dream away between the early oeuvre of the artist Daniël Monic and some ethnic art pieces from Africa. All well guarded by Lungile, our mascot and first visitor of the house.

 

Just change from continent! In the WAN-AN (“good night” in Mandarin) you will find some Javanse influences with wonderful wang- golêk dolls at the headboard of the bed. Other artefacts and calligraphic pieces from Asia create a warm atmosphere.

We have chosen KALINICHTA or in Greek “good night” to link the great philosophers and the “spiritual” (!) life of students from Leuven and Heidelberg. “O Alte Burschenherrlichkeit … !
