Welcome to Usategieta

Maribel and Guy welcome you to their cozy bed and breakfast in the little village of Genevilla (Basque Country, Navarra, Spain). Our house dates back to the second half of the 19th century and was completely renovated pervailing it's original charm. It is specially conceived to offer a heaven of peace and comfort to it's guests.

By principle we used mainly natural and ecological materials for the reconstruction."Usana", The Basque word for "pigeon" if found in the original name of the town: Uxanavilla, the town of the pigeons. An excellent idea for the name of our house, where both homeing pigeons and turtledubs are welcome!

The result is The house of the pigeons or USATEGIETA.
